Soul Leeches

Soul Leeches

All of us have these leeches on our soul. They are the parts of us that drain our life force.
Drain our passion. Drain our ability to live a life that is fully alive.
But you were not born with these leeches attached to your soul; they came from outside of you.
The challenge is to stop and take the time to find the leech and pull it off. Now, if you’ve ever pulled a leech off after it’s been there for a while, you know it hurts. It’s not a pretty site and it will most certainly leave a mark. Doing the work to identify these energy drains is hard. It takes commitment, courage and discipline.
The reward? You reclaim your energy. You get your life back.

Sharing

According to Kabbalistic teaching, the origin of all negativity is the ‘desire to receive for the self alone’. This self serving desire, in any of it countless forms, cuts us off from true fulfillment. Anything negative that happens is this world, whether to an individual or to humanity as a whole, is a manifestation of self-centered desire. Yet the desire to receive for our selves alone is inherent in our nature as human beings. Our ego tells us that we can and must do everything ourselves and for our selves. The goal is to transform the desire to receive for our selves alone into desire to receive for the purpose of sharing.

Grasping

Grasping

Along the journey while we are grasping and working to get more we miss the beauty. We miss what is in the moment. We miss living our lives. It hurts to hold on so tight. Our grip on our life can strangle our life. True freedom is to loosen the grip. Enjoying life that is in front of you. Taking in the beauty of life around you.
